We each have a destiny that lays our path
It's not for us to question it, but to carve it
Beauty saves us
There's always beauty

Economics of the 1%
Is the root of what we've come to resent.
Information's the new currency,
A post-capitalist ideology.

The Future

Recently, I wrote a wee personalised poem for a wonderful lass whose girlfriend is following a new vocational path with exciting times ahead.
Here's a slightly adapted extract as a micropoem X

In lifetimes of doorways
We wait in dim-lit hallways
'til something says
"It's this one you should try"
On the other side, an eternal sky

Love Hard & Live in the Light

This is a slightly altered extract of a poem I wrote for my wonderful Auntie and Uncle today for their forthcoming Golden Wedding Anniversary. 50 years married, AMAZING!

We look back on sands of time
Love; a neon scaffold to climb
Beams night skies beacon-bright
Says climb up, love hard and live in the light.

Chewed up and out,
Seeking only your spirit,
What is a spirit?
Mine has you in it.

Secrets of who we once were

We sought wisdom in graffitied walls,
And tattered memories in old wooden drawers,
Secrets of who we once were.

Chasing Static

Chasing static in live airtime,
I am me of the minute, not the lifetime.
Though themes emerge,
Call out and urge
Us to redefine the lines.
